House Rules Guide

Welcome to Zuri Bluu

We're delighted you've chosen to stay at Zuri Bluu. Our home has been thoughtfully prepared for your enjoyment, and we kindly ask that you treat it with the same care and respect as you would your own. These simple guidelines help us preserve the property and ensure a relaxing experience for both our guests and our neighbours.

๐Ÿก 1. Enjoy Your Stay

Zuri Bluu accommodates a maximum of 10 registered guests. Please let us know in advance if your estimated arrival time changes. We hope you make yourself at home and enjoy everything the Garden Route has to offer.

๐Ÿคซ 2. Respect Our Neighbours

Zuri Bluu is located in a peaceful coastal residential neighbourhood. Please be considerate of our neighbours by:

  • Keeping noise to a minimum, particularly during quiet hours between 22:00 and 08:00.
  • Avoiding loud music and excessive outdoor noise on the pool deck at all times.
  • Respecting the quiet, natural nature of the area.
  • Please note that parties, social functions, and loud events are strictly prohibited.

๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿ‘งโ€๐Ÿ‘ฆ 3. Visitors

For the comfort, privacy, and security of everyone: only registered guests may stay overnight. Please obtain our written approval before inviting any daytime visitors to the property.

๐Ÿšญ 4. Smoking

Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside the house. If you choose to smoke outdoors on the decks or garden area, please dispose of cigarette butts responsibly in the ash bins and ensure they are fully extinguished.

๐Ÿ– 5. Braai Guidelines

Please enjoy the braai facilities responsibly. Never leave an open fire unattended. Ensure all braai fires are completely extinguished before retiring for the evening. During periods of high fire risk or dry coastal wind, please follow any local fire restrictions carefully.

๐ŸŠ 6. Pool Safety

Please enjoy the plunge pool responsibly. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times. No diving is allowed. Wet deck surfaces may become slippery, so please walk carefully. Use of the pool is entirely at your own risk.

๐Ÿ” 7. Security

Your safety and the security of our home are important. Before leaving the property or retiring for the evening, please ensure:

  • All external doors and windows are closed and locked.
  • Outdoor furniture and umbrellas are folded and secured during windy conditions.
  • Keys and remote controls are kept safely. Please report any lost keys or remotes as soon as possible.

๐Ÿš— 8. Parking

Secure parking is available on the property. Please park responsibly and avoid blocking neighbouring driveways. Vehicles and their contents remain the owner's responsibility.

๐Ÿ’ง 9. Water & Electricity

South Africa occasionally experiences municipal water interruptions and scheduled electricity outages (load shedding). We kindly ask guests to:

  • Use water responsibly during your stay.
  • Switch off lights and air-conditioning when leaving a room or not required.
  • Help us reduce unnecessary electricity consumption.

๐Ÿงน 10. Before You Leave

Before checking out at 10:00, we would appreciate it if you could:

  • Wash or load used dishes into the dishwasher.
  • Dispose of household rubbish in the designated bins.
  • Lock all doors and windows.
  • Return all keys and remotes as instructed.
  • Notify us of any accidental breakages or maintenance issues. There is absolutely no problem if something has been accidentally damaged โ€” we simply ask that you let us know.

๐Ÿ†˜ In an Emergency

If you experience any maintenance issue or require assistance during your stay, please contact us immediately. We are here to help and want your stay to be as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
